Heatwave_-_Boogie_Night.mp3 My favorite disco song from late 1976 / early 1977 as airchecked from Hometown Radio 1340 Stereo WIRY Plattsburgh, NY in Pierrefonds, Montreal West Island, Quebec, Canada on a Sony CFS 6000 C90 Maxell tape from that same boombox and passive tunable Australian PK fringe AM loop phased against the Sony CFS 6000... Look at the switch between the Wide and narrower AM filters... This recording is almost as impressive as the WBLQ ones ! Is WBLQ audible in stereo in Montreal or am I hallucinating at some point ?

WBLQ_from_Westerly_to_Montreal_in_STEREO_on_1230.mp3 Wow ! I can't believe it ! Stereo audio recovered from a local 1 kW graveyarder on an extremely crowded channel during semi-auroral minor storm conditions and a huge power outage at my usually noisy suburban QTH in Verdun, Montreal, Quebec, Canada ! If anyone else heard STEREO C-QUAM audio by skywave (with platform motion, of course) on 1230, 1240, 1340, 1400, 1450 or 1490 kHz C-QUAM from hundreds of miles away, please let me know. Hear Elton John's pianos and synth on 2 sides! Why not ? Enjoy!
